Over 40 parents attended the March 22 Parent Survival Night for Grades 2 - 4 held at L'ecole Bilingue Elementary School in Vancouver. Recent Past EventsNovember 30, 2009 Second Annual Parent Survival Night with Sallie Boschung. Over 80 parents participated from all over the Vancouver area. Handouts are attached below. April 29th the three Vancouver Chapters (East, North and South) held a Parent Survival Night with speaker Sallie Boschung. Advice on how to support your child in French Immersion was covered and handout to help with Dictee, pronouciation and word lists was given. Copies of the handouts are below for all parents to reference. On March 12th Laura Secord Elementary school hosted a french Movie Night featuring Films presented by the National Film Board for the Rendez-vous de la Francophonie. Over 100 parents and children came to watch the films and fun was had by all! Check out the Photos of the movie night November 8, 2008 Cirque Du Francails hosted at Lord Selkirk School had over 150 children and parents in attendance for an interactive French language interactive circus and performance by Sand Northrup!
