College Educacentre Part II Print E-mail

In my last blog, I gave a little introduction to Educacentre College. In this blog, I will tell you about my visit there. It was my first time going, so I wrote the address of the college on a piece of paper. But when I got off the skytrain, I discovered that I had lost my piece paper. So, I decide to try finding the place without really knowing the address. I couldn’t. I had to call the CPF office to ask for help.  It turns out that I was walking in the wrong direction (east instead of west)! After a long walk (west), I finally arrived at the College. I met the general director, Paulette Bouffard, who took me on a tour of the school. Because I was late, many classrooms were closed so we only visited a few.
The first stop was the ESLA Classroom. A classroom for the immigrants to learn english

As I walked along the hallway, I took a photo of this poster. It was made by students and it talked about Francophone culture and history.

Next was the counseling centre. It was a pretty nice area where students can go to relax.

Finally, we arrived at the computer lab.

In tomorrow’s blog will feature the interviews I had with Paulette Bouffard and one of the college volunteers for the Olympic Games, Jefté Campos.
