Finally! The day that Vancouverites have been waiting for is here. In a few hours, BC Place will host one of the biggest celebrations in Vancouver’s history: The 2010 Winter Olympic Opening Ceremonies. The show starts at 6 pm (PST). You can watch it at home in English on CTV or Sportsnet, and in French on RDS or CPAC. Radio News 1130 will stream live audio from BC Place and online at http://www.news1130.com/. The ceremonies will also be shown on the big screen at LiveCity Yaletown, while the Richmond O Zone will provide live video coverage starting at 6 pm with fireworks to follow at 9 pm. Today will be unforgettable for many people, but it’s only the beginning.
