| Reliving the High School Memories |

As I arrived to McRoberts Parking lot this afternoon, I found it was crowded with students and parents who came to pick up their children. Being at my old high school brought back so many memories. It reminded me of times where I would search for my buddies after school and go home as a group. On our way home we would talk about the large amount of homework a certain teacher gave us or about the girls that we had crushes on. It was the good old days! I like surprising my friends and for that reason I didn't tell my friends that are still in high school that I was coming. As a result, everyone had their mouths wide open when they saw me walking down the hallway. I wished I had a bit more time to chat with them and ask them how they've been but I had to rush to see my grade 11 Français Langue teacher Madame Poulin. When I met with Madame Poulin I asked her if the school would be doing anything for the Olympics. She told me that the school will be organizing an Olympic ceremony and the school's music band will be performing at Minoru Park on February 12. She also said she will be encouraging her students to participate to this year's Concour d'art Oratoire competition so maybe they could get a chance to work for the CPF too! She gave me lots of other good ideas like going to French immersion elementary schools to find out what activities they are organizing and additional topics that I could explore for my blog. |
