BC Day Celebrations – August 1, 2011
Come celebrate B.C. Day with us! From 11 am to 5pm at St.Ann Academy, music and family entertainment will be presented as a free family event for all ages. 

Bringing a unique francophone flavour to this fun-filled day, the Societe Francophone of Victoria proudly introduces Les Transporteurs de Rêves/The Dream Circus – a highly  entertaining and original take on the old circus tradition. Victoria Tango Festival - August 12 to 14, 2011

This year the Francophone Society of Victoria, together with The Passion for Tango Society, is very pleased to present Norteño - our Headlining performers. This Quebec group is the only prominent group in North America that specializes in the compositions of Astor Piazzolla. Quebec is known to have the oldest tango community in North America; it has produced nationally and internationally recognized tango musicians. Don’t miss this special opportunity to welcome Norteño to Victoria this summer.

Free guided tours - July 17 to September 11, 2011
Starting Sunday, July 17, the Society of the Friends of St. Ann's Academy invites you to take a free guided historic walk to discover the heart of the past francophone community of Victoria. Visits are in French and English and take place every Sunday. Meet in front of the entrance stairway of the St. Ann's Academy, at 835 Humboldt Street.
