CPF National and Branch AGM & CONFERENCE 2012
Ottawa, October 17-19 2012. If you are looking for information regarding our Branch AGM & Conference 2011, held November 4-6 2011, please view the Post AGM page. CPF invites you to join us in celebration of “Champions of Official Languages”. We are planning many interesting and exciting opportunities to share ideas, best practices and success stories. -- CPF BC's AGM & Conference will be held October 17 (Programming TBA) Preliminary National Conference Program* features: • Thursday, October 18: 9am - 8pm: All day registration; Welcome buffet dinner.
• Friday, October 19: 7:45am - 10pm: Breakfast launch of The State of French-Second-Language Education in Canada 2012 report, which will include a presentation of the report, followed by a Q & A and a panel discussion; Workshops in the afternoon; Reception buffet dinner with guest speaker.
• Saturday, October 20: 7:45am – 9:30pm: Group session (world café format); Annual General Meeting (AGM) open to all delegates (voting and nonvoting members); the President’s Banquet in celebration of CPF’s accomplishments and our 35th anniversary, including a presentation of the CPF Volunteer Award.
• Sunday, October 21: 8am – 9am: Breakfast with your National Board Liaison; conference concludes. (optional lunch at noon for those delegates who have late departures).
* Detailed program will be emailed to registered delegates by October 1. Registration and Fees There will be one subsidized delegate per Chapter. Please note each person who attends the conference must fill out a Registration Form. For those that will register as a Conference Delegate, CPF is pleased to announce an early bird, regular and late registration option:
Early bird Registration Fee - $750
Fee paid and travel booked by July 3, 2012
Regular Registration Fee - $800
Fee paid and travel booked from July 4 - Sept 17, 2012
Late Registration Fee - $1,000
Fee paid and travel booked from Sept 18 - Oct 1, 2012
All delegates who register after Oct 1, 2012 will be subject to space permitting and will be responsible for their own travel costs.
