Rencontre Française 2006!

Bonjour!

CPF-BC & Yukon's Rencontre Française Youth Conference will be held at Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, from May 12-14. The conference will be held at SFU's new conference facility.

All students who have received confirmation of participation for Rencontre, must have ALL of the below forms completed and returned to CPF-BC & Yukon office by April 18, 2006. If you have not received confirmation of participation in Rencontre you do not need to fill in and return these forms.

Students should arrive at the registration desk between 3:00 and 5:00 pm on Friday, May 12. Parking is available in the Visitor Parkade. Park on the top level and use the staircase at the West end to come down to the entrance of the Residence Dining Hall (see building "A" on the attached map). The students need to first check in at the registration desk to get their room assignment and registration package. Please leave your luggage in your room and then come back to the registration area to meet your assigned monitor.

Transportation is the responsibility of the participants. Special arrangements can be made for students traveling by bus, ferry or flying into Vancouver. Please complete and return the enclosed Transportation Form before April 18h even if you are making your own arrangements.

The conference will conclude at 11:00 am on Sunday and you should pick up your child at the Residence Dining Hall at that time. See parking instructions above. There will be a sign-out sheet, key drop-off and a reminder to check rooms (especially behind the door!) for any forgotten items.

We have noted your child's preferences in the organized activities and will be assigning workshops and/or activities closer to the event. This information will be included in the students' welcome packages when they arrive.

Enclosed are the forms which must be completed and returned to us by: April 18th. Please use the checklist to make sure you are returning a total of 8 pages and don't forget the photo!
